Who I am

Personally

I am a human being in this unpredictable, uncertain, and uncertain world. I am a realist and yet eternally hopeful. I believe in offering as much grace to others as I might need some day.

I am also a mom, a partner, an OG (Original Grandma), a daughter, a sister, and a friend to some pretty amazing human beings and a spicy cat named Chief. I am a widow to a Fallen Firefighter and a have a special place in my soul for first responders and firefighters especially. I have a great deal of personal life experience navigating this amazing life we get to live.

I am a mixed media artist in my free time. This image is entitled “Ambivalence”. I love to teach mixed media art classes to people who think they couldn’t possibly create anything artistic. They always are so surprised!
